Some engineering work at a level crossing on the ECML North of Doncaster. According to Google Earth the date is 21 Sep 2008 (not that that is of any consequence really but just thought I'd mention it).

I can't quite work out how to get the links to work but theres an unrefurbished 455 just east of Malden Manor station, old Central/Silverlink livery 350 at Milton Keynes and for some reason theres three 325's in Willesden TMD!

In Google Maps, when you get the scene you want left click the blue "link" button towards the top right of the view and a new box will open up. Left click the text in the "Paste link in email or IM" box to ensure it is highlighted then right click to open a new menu window and select "Copy". Then simply right click in the forum message window, "Paste" the link and away you go.

Never used 'Bing' though so can't comment on that one

Further to other replies, use Google Earth and when you've found what you're looking for do File > View in Google Maps and then cut and paste the url from the Google Maps window.

I looked along the line, and it looked very thomasy. There was even some coaches and a some troublesome truck like trucks.

I think they're planning to do it by GPS, but haven't yet.

Yes, can't be real time as its giving timings for trains at 00.41 now, which is what the time is here, but its 01.41 in Switzerland
