It's a cracking video that I found it a few weeks ago but forgot to post it I had the date as being the late sixties but if you say seventies I'll take your word for it

You saw the class 50 come onto the train and the leccy came off, this is because the wires were not up to Scotland at that time, I recon that film was shot in the mid 1970's

I would put it earlier, probably about 1968. The car reg in one shot is from then, and the clothing suggests late 60s.
I can't help thinking what the current unions would think about a film that blamed staff for late running!

It will be some time between 1968 and 1974 - Euston's concourse dates from '68 and Crewe-Preston-Glasgow had electrification completed in '74, though there's no evidence of preparation work / construction of the latter so my guess would be 1969-1973.

Rugby looked like it was in the 1960s definitely, but what I suspect was Watford Jn (the platform alteration station) and Crewe looked quite modern, more early Seventies.
