Thornaby Depot future?

Does anyone have any up front info what plans are in store for the Thornaby Depot site?
I remember this depot being a thriving hive of activity not that too long ago, having a healthy Locomotive allocation, great maintenance facilities, including a wheel lathe. It now saddens me every time I pass Thornaby to see it's degeneration to what it now is.

As far as i know, Thornaby was officially shut down by EWS, and now is just used for stabling goods vehicles. It's sad to see it how it is, but I don't think there is any hope for its future.
