Hey, I met a Thomas Cook cabin steward today. He’s just been offered a job with GWR. Lovely bloke called Jamie. He was on one of the very last flights last Sunday night. Tonight I’ve written his story for @RAIL

I strongly suspect that Jamie had already submitted his application for GWR months ago while he was still working with Thomas Cook. He seems to really have fallen on his feet with the timing of the travel firm's collapse and being given a start date with GWR a week later. I would find it extremely hard to believe he has been fast tracked for a TOC role in a matter of days.
