^ That's what worries me. In 1:30 of video, she established that Alaska shares a border with Canada and an "aero-maritime" border with Russia. An excellent observation. However, it doesn't take a Vice-Presidential candidate to read a map. I could have established that, and I'm sure most other people on this forum could have done the same.

Ha, that made me chuckle that last bit. An excerpt from 'Spitting Image'...

Interviewer: What do you say, Mr. Kinnock, to all those people who accuse you of blatant electioneering?
Kinnock: VOTE FOR ME!

But strewth, don't let the mad woman in, she is far scarier than even Bush, and that is saying something...

Controversial point: Notice interest picked up with the republican party, in this country at least, due to the sex appeal of the candidate. We know rats get a bad press compared to fluffy foxes, but does anyone else find this sad?

I'm putting money on a McCain win, simply because I honestly don't believe some Americans will have the courage to put their name next to a black candidate on the 4th. He will then die within 2 yrs, which leaves us with a creationist in the White House. Imagine that... someone who doesn't believe in Dinosaurs ruling the world's most recent failure as a superpower... :D

It often shocks the media to read that between 50-60% of americans reject evolution and endorse creationism. what isnt often reported is that the figures in Britain are more or less the same. after all, nobody wants to be, in Mrs Garrison's words "the retarded offspring of five monkeys having buttsex with a fish-squirrel"

evolution. a theory, for which the evidence is lacking....

No evidence of evolution? OK, you tell that to people who have MRSA and other such bacteria growing in their body.

The only reason I particularly don't want McCain to win is his running mate; Governor Sarah Palin. She is not able to be president and, considering there's a 30% chance that McCain won't survive his first term, well President Palin it is...

Not that I particularly like Obama, but he's much better than the other option. And thankfully, Americans are going towards Obama. However, we never know what could happen when we go to the polls.
