The thread I posted about yesterday's Apolcalypse got me wondering that if you found out you only had x amount of time before the world ended etc, much similar to a list of things you want to do before you die, what would you do?

I can't quite think of anyting yet, but something'll come to me.

Anyone else? (I know the Apocalypse thing wasn't a real threat, but can we keep this as serious as possible please? Thanks.)

Make a post on here without someone either complaining it's offensive; I used too many smilies; I used not enough smilies; or having it removed because I'm apparently trolling.

After that it would definitely be my aim to have to take out my own super injunction for some reason.

I think it would depend on how much time you had left!

For instance, if there was a week, I would try and drive a Rolls Royce! If there was longer I would have to see the pyramids!

This might be that post then! :)

The bottom half would be ;)

Just say you had x amount of time to do them all, thereafter you're time would be up.

Mine would probably consist of visiting the back end of nowhere in Oz/America, and enjoy being the largest and smallest living thing for hundreds of miles around. Thereafter, I'm not sure.

One of my ideal things to do would be a bit of a world tour. Obviously starting in the UK, first thing to do would be to get to Heathrow (I've always wanted to fly from there) to Australia, do that for a while, pop over to New Zealand, get up to Japan, over to China, the USA, South America (not sure which parts, but Brazil and Argentina come to mind), over to Africa (again, not sure which parts), up to Russia before doing the remaining countries in Europe I've not been to (so everything bar France, Greece, Belgium and Portugal then)!

That of course would take at least three months I reckon, probably more, and a truckload of cash. Otherwise my list contains, but not limited to:

Finish covering the UK railway network
Doing a First Class 14 day All Line Rover
Stay in a Hilton
Travel in a limo, then drive it
Drive a Honda NSX, Dodge Viper (blue with double white stripes), Mitsubishi GTO and Audi TT, not forgetting a Ferrari of some sort
Drive several different classes of train, including a 37 and an HST (the latter included because I wanted to do it for years)
Reach the top of the Eiffel Tower
Visit every theme park in the world
and of course, various things associated with the opposite sex ;)

That list is not 100% finished, but it does cover quite a few things I'd love to do. How long it would take to do all of that lot, and how much it would cost, is unknown but it would be a fun few months! :D

Drive an A4 on the ECML
Fly a Spitfire
If unavailable, a Eurofighter Typhoon instead
Go to Antarctica
Find a girl called Jasmin (whose second name I cannot remember) and tell her I was wrong and stupid

That's one of the associated things to do with the opposite sex that I mentioned. You're not alone on that problem, it'll happen one day.

Let's not turn this into another thread about sex... :D

I think right now I'm in the mindset where I simply want to see more of Britain.

To add a few:
Watch the Monaco Grand Prix from up the mast of a yacht in the harbour
See a Golden Eagle (the one bird I can never find)
Go to an Ashes Test
Also look for a girl called Kathryn, I've always wanted to meet her again - there are a few others, old failures all :(

I would like to watch the British Grand Prix, the Wimbledon Men's Singles Final, an Ashes Test, a Six Nations Game, the Open in golf, the Olympics, the FA Cup Final, and Everton playing in Southend.

No more you-know-what talk; we had enough of that around my birthday

Quite easy, you just need to catch a train to Dundee, as Camperdown Wildlife Centre. However, if you want to see 1 in the wild, then you may have to hunt around Scotland for a bit.

I want to see Fernando Alonso win a third F1 title, Arsenal thrash Barcelona in the Champions League Final, Stevenage get taken over and bombed by the army, the Conservatives winning the next election, Ed Miliband run screaming from the Labour Party HQ never to be see again, Jeremy Clarkson being crowned King, FCC introducing better services to Cambridge and Peterborough from Potters Bar and Aliens actually landing in America....;)

Myself, I'd settle for a Lamborghini Murcielago and sixty miles of open road! :D

Geordie back from exile.
I think I'd too like to head off to Oz. I've been there a few times and driven over 10,000km in the times I've been there but I've still only seen about 1% of the country and that was around the south east or south west coasts. Probably start at Perth heading east ending up along the Great Central Road through the middle of Oz towards Alice Springs and onto Brisbane. Then up to Darwin and head south to Adelaide then along the Eyre Highway back to Perth. I think that would suffice. I'd try to take in some of the more remote places too if it was possible. Just love the idea of being nowhere.

Another thing I'd do is travel out to St. Maarten in the Netherlands Antilles and get sand blasted by a plane taking off. Now that may well be the last thing I'd ever do but what a way to go.........
