The money is better spent elsewhere, making sure the current network works before re-opening something else, like Manchester Picc platforms 15 & 16, GW Electrification, MML electrification etc.

That is simply an excuse for never ending procrastination. There needs to be a budget specifically with a purpose of reconnecting communities without the benefit of a railway service, to the network.

It wouldn't really fit the bill because Dunstable remains disconnected from the railway network ::

So it was kind of pointless building a busway in the first place !
