Hello
in regards to London commuting from this station, what is the likelihood of rocking up at 6.50 am or 7.20 am and being able to park the car in the station car park. Can anyone advise based on experience?

Not impossible but I wouldn’t say too likely. A large amount of the car park is closed for works to install a footbridge, so parking is limited.

Depending on where you’re coming from/going you’re going to have a better time parking at Pangbourne in either the station car park, which will almost definitely have spaces, but if not the car park outside the village hall is slightly cheaper and a few minutes walk away.

As with many stations in the South East (and across larger conurbations) Mondays and Fridays more likely than midweek. This applies for both Theale and Pangbourne. Service levels are similar on both lines.

Levels are similar but there is much more parking at Pangbourne

Thanks. I normally get on at Goring & Streatley if I get a lift or I take the bus from Woodcote to Reading and get on there if not, when going to London or down to the coast by train.
