Belle Vale bus station in Liverpool the other side of the shopping centre only shelters for the stands, the main bus routes 14-79-79C-79D don't even serve the bus station.

Merseytravel bus stations that have been rebuilt from mid 1990s far too small & not enough Road space so buses waiting to go into the stand block buses going to/from other stands cue gridlock & the worst one for this is Liverpool Queen Square bus station.

Are the bus stops at Belle Vale shopping centre referred to as a bus station? Take away the 14 and the 79 and nothing much else goes near there on a frequent basis. Totally agree about Queens Square, a mess. I thank the lord every day that I don't live in any of the huge swathes of the city served by buses from this creation that don't have a train service. That isn't anything against the areas, just the poor service they receive. Multiple bus routes crossing over each other multiple times in the city centre alone, horrendous.

Liverpool One has a half decent bus station and is quite handy if you live on the 80, 82 and 86 bus routes, none of which are too far from each other and also have really good rail links. I will admit that I am spoiled rotten where I live.

Only the group of 3 stops in the circle outside KFC is the bus station, the main routes stop is listed on the timatable as Belle Vale Shopping Centre Childwall Valley Road, the 14 & 79C it's Belle Vale Childwall Valley Road.

All the cross river routes moved from Queen Square to Sir Thomas Street because of the delays going through Queens Square, & as have some of the routes that go to mainly via Bootle.

Liverpool One is quite frustrating that it's only convenient to routes that serve South Liverpool, using Hanover Street, Park Lane or the Waterfront. Most North & East Liverpool routes that use Queen Square done serve Liverpool One during the day. The Halton Transport 14 no longer serves Liverpool One as does the daytime 79C.

If we are being international about it, Didube Bus Station in Tbilisi, Georgia is quite appalling. It has a functioning subway station...and two, heavily potholed yards, one each side of the station building, each full of minibuses and cars. And lots of people wandering around. And kiosks selling everything under the sun. No proper ordering or signs or timetables available, but lots of minibuses.

These two short videos give some (fairly limited) idea of the chaos of the place, but don't show half of it. It is unusually bad for a transport interchange in this part of the world.
