Took a trip out to Stafford tonight to fot 1P05 with 90018 at the sharp end. A quick run up platform 1 to set up the tripod (yup - I guessed it would go in on platform 5 - WRONG!) produced this fot:

Nice shot mate, they ran this on the euston to Wolverhapton once dont know why they changed it because now i cant get haulage on it

Nice Shot! I was on the opposite side to you I think..on erm..whatever platform the train came in on (Cant remember!)

I was on the same platform to start with as I'd wrongly assumed it'd use platform 5! The sight of platform staff loitering on platform 3 provoked a run over the bridge (in the most inappropriate footwear imaginable - my work boots!) for my shot. The blisters were just about worth it.........
