Did I miss the/any discussion about the strike? I didn't know if you people touched on that or not. In NYC, it has been a law since the 1970's that a strike is not legal by MTA employees. Labor laws are very complex and hard to talk about without emotion and possibly bias or even family connections.
At least London and New York have viable mass-transit. I will be moving to another apartment complex on the first of August. It is less that 6 miles from here and I will be no closer to trasnit that I am now. The closest I'll have to that is the front seat of my Chrysler PTCruiser.
