We disembark from the train and go to Kings Road, Hgof Isaf where we board the Cardiff Bus 62 service for a short journey to Morganstown where we disembark at 2347 at Ty-nant Road on a Friday night

We then check into the Ty Nant pub for a room, and in the morning jump on the 33B bus operated by Cardiff Bus, departing the bus stop opposite the pub at 0840 and going to Canton Cross, arriving there at 0907 on Saturday morning.

I am somewhat unsure of my bearings here as Canton Cross is all that I have to work with
We board the 0946 First Cymru service X2 to Lias Road, Porthcawl that arrives there at 1103 on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately the X2 doesn't serve the Canton Cross pub.

Firstly, my last entry is now shown as fully "struck-through". To be honest, I did make a preamble to my posting that expressed my hesitation.
If you look at the previous entry, all I was given to go on was that a bus journey arrived at Canton Cross (no area named) at 0907 on a Saturday morning.
The quiz therefore should re-continue from that particular place at that particular time on a Saturday morning.

However, a "crash course" in timetable understanding convinces us "enough is enough" with regard to bus travel, so as a result of speaking to a kindly off-duty bus driver, he tells us to stay at the bus stop and to wait for a bus that he and his family will be getting to a railway station, so we all board the Cardiff Bus 33A service from Canton Cross that arrives at Cardiff Central railway station at 0950 on Saturday morning.

Deciding to head back down south, we cross over the platforms and there is only a very short wait until we board the 1527 Virgin Trains service to Milton Keynes Central that arrives there at 1801 on Saturday afternoon.

Having enjoyed the novelty of a Pendolino over the North Wales Coast line, we then have a little wait in Milton Keynes for the 1913 Stagecoach Gold X4 service from the station to Corby, arriving in George St. at 2130 on Saturday evening.

Deciding to carry on our bus adventure we stay on George Street and board the 2208 Stagecoach in Northants X1 service to Kettering that stops at the railway station at 2234 on Saturday night.

I would describe the time of arrival as being Sunday morning as only 8 minutes have elapsed that day since Saturday night ended.

Having established the correct time, we book into a hotel and an early morning alarm call, which allows us to have Nottingham's finest cooked breakfast (with extra toast) then we make our way back to the railway station and board the 0931 EMT service to Manchester Piccadilly that arrives at 1138 on Sunday morning.

Cotteridge is a place that we feel rather unsure of and whilst it is not too far from the stop at Pershore Road where we last disembarked to try to find Kings Norton railway station, we are persuaded by a group of students to join them on a local bus ride to their college where an event on a Sunday afternoon has been running, so we with them go to stand CJ and together, we all board the 1649 West Midlands service 11A that takes us to South Birmingham College, Hall Green, that arrives at 1712 on Sunday afternoon.

Ah, the Outer Circle, one of my favourite bus routes. The longest in Europe, in fact!
After having a drink with our new college buddies we then board National Express West Midlands route 6 at 1818 to Moor Street in Birmingham (outside Selfridges), that arrives there at 1836 on Sunday evening.

Sunday at this time finds Selfridges not to be trading, so we walk to the railway station at Moor Street nearby and we board the 1918 Chiltern Railways service (which stops many times) to Northolt Park that arrives there at 2128 on a Sunday night.

After all this travelling and wishing to find a next leg where we can "cat-nap" in warmth during the journey, we make our way in the airport area to the bus/coach station and go to stand 1, where we board the 2359 National Express service 421 that arrives at Manchester Airport interchange at 0500 on Monday morning.
