Bugger. Not much else we can do :P so let's find a hotel (if possible in Hucknall!) and in the morning jump on 2D00, the 0639 East Midlands Trains service to Nottingham, which arrives at 0650 on Thursday morning.

You mean Thursday morning (not sure the train takes 24h11 to do Hucknall to Nottingham).
Take the Centrebus 19 to Melton Mowbray (Scalford Road), arriving at 08.09 Thursday.

What was this method of transport ?
We decide to see all the attractions that a ferry port has to offer and take our time over a very full meal then we decide to use train over bus for the next part of our journey and we board the 1900 ATW shuttle service to Clarbeston Road that arrives at 1921 on Friday evening.
