Whitby is another town renowned for its fish & chips, amongst other things. Deciding to stick around for a bit, rather than immediately dash off back the way we came, we end up spending the night here and leave the following morning on the 0930 Arriva bus no. 93 to Scarborough Station, arriving on Thursday morning at 1030.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Having told the staff that we will be up at 0500, we are treated to a hearty breakfast and copious amounts of tea and thick buttered toast, before making our way to the railway station to catch the 0622 Northern service to York that finally arrives there at 0806 on Friday morning.

Well timed Paul, as this gives us chance to connect with First Great Western's 2F74 1050 Falmouth Docks service, arriving there at 1114 on Saturday morning. Good time for a cuppa me thinks :D
