Still an onward local area service from the bus station is available at this time of night, so we board the 2315 Norfolk Green Fairstead One service to Fairstead (Fernlea Road) that arrives there at 2329 on Tuesday evening.

We remain on the same platform at Piccadilly to await a service that will convey us back across the Pennines/Peak District. We board the 15:43 EMT service, which is one of the few long distance services that company operates that calls at more obscure stations for the route. We alight at Aslockton arriving at 17:52 on Wednesday.

We head up the High Street to Epton's chippy for some food... Oh no it's closed at this time of the night (typical out of season holiday town). We make our way back to the station, but as it's also the interchange for the bus service we can partake of an omnibus journey. Departing on the 20:30 Stagecoach Lincolnshire service 3. having missed the bus 30 minutes previous, we alight at Fantasy Island arriving at 20:47 on Wednesday evening.

I presume that this is the Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells
I'm afraid it is... and what a depressing place it is. :|

Luckily we don't have too long to wait before we can move on from this place. We board the 21:43 Stagecoach Lincolnshire service 1 and alight at Skegness, North Parade (opp County Hotel) arriving 22:06 on Wednesday.

We are indebted to the nature of local provision for public transport at this time of night, but note from the poster at the bus stop that the winter timetable commences from 28 October. However we are gladdened to see the approaching bus; we board the 22:51 Stagecoach Lincolnshire service 1 and alight at Skegness, Beresford Avenue (on Lumley Road) arriving at 23:07 on Wednesday.

We then participate in a late nigh 5 minute stroll to the train station where we sleep to wait for the 07:09 East Midlands Trains service to Nottingham arriving at 09:20 Thursday Morning

Note: hope this moves valid, not entirely sure if a walk+wait+train style move is aloud :)

Game moves

Walking
You may not walk between stations of the same mode although you may walk to a different bus stop at the same location for example by crossing the road in order to travel in a different direction. You may also walk when changing modes but only to a stop serving the same location.

I call HALT HALT HALT and cite this extract from the rules as the reason why.

This now appears to be the posting to make the next onward connection with.

NOTE : According to the timetable that I saw, the change from Low Season to the winter period number 1 timetable takes place sometimes towards the end of October
