A Saturday evening run along the North Wales coastline is at first thwarted by only having a 4-minute time period for connection, so we have then to wait to board the later 2043 ATW service to Shotton that arrives there at 2136 on Saturday evening.

If you are stranded in this area, there is no nicer place than Wilmslow to find yourself, so awaiting the dawn to break and strolling around this iconic settlement. we wait at the single bus stop at the railway station until it is time to board the 0749 Vale of Llangollen (yes, this is correct ) service 200 to Styal, Quarry Bank Road (the stop on the car park area at Quarry Bank Mill) that arrives there at 0759 on Sunday morning.

We find there is onward transport onboard the return bus of the service we were on, and so we board the 08:22 Vale of Llangollen service 200 to Wilmslow (Railway Forecourt) arriving there at 08:32 43 minutes after we left.
