We decide to stay with the same coastal service and board the 1709 Stagecoach South Coastliner 700 service to Littlehampton (Anchor Springs) that arrives there at 1743 on Thursday afternoon.

We enjoy this service so much that we continue to use it by joining the 17:54 Stagecoach South Coastliner 700 service and alighting at Hove [Brunswick Place] arriving 19:17 on Thursday evening

We decide to use one of the local area buses next and board the 1929 Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company service 25 to Moulsecoomb (Lewis Road on the Bates Estate) that arrives there at 1947 on Thursday evening.

We return on the next 25 in the opposite direction at 2000, and travel as far as Brighton Old Steine, arriving at 2013 Thursday evening

We find that we have missed a train by ten minutes from the station so have to wait in this settlement, home of the infamous Popinjay John Marsh. Terry Wogan fans will understand.

We board the next train, the 22:34 Southern service, which conveys us to Edenbridge Town arriving at 23:04 on Thursday.
