We make our way along to stop Hb and board the 11:22 First Bristol, Bath and the West bus (service 8) to Clifton (Victoria Square) arriving 11:33 on Thursday morning.

We next board the 1145 First in Bristol, Bath and the West service 8 to Bristol Temple Meads railway station that arrives there at 1230 on Thursday afternoon.

We walk inside to the concourse and look at the departure board, we then decide to head to the Midlands, and so we board the 13:00 Arriva Cross Country service to Wolverhampton arriving there at 14:48 Thursday Afternoon.

We decide to continue westwards by rail and board the 1525 LM service to Shrewsbury that arrives there at 1615 on Thursday afternoon.

Next, we board the 16:33 Arriva Trains Wales service to Smethwick Galton Bridge arriving there at 17:22 Thursday Afternoon

Heading in a different direction next, we board the 1734 LM service to Droitwich Spa that arrives there at 1825 on Thursday evening.

We then board the 18:45 London Midland service to Birmingham Snow Hill arriving there at 19:35 Thursday Evening

We decide to continue on light rail from here... we board the 19:45 Midland Metro tram MM1 service and alight at Bilston Central arriving 20:13 on Thursday evening.

Apologies for the problem surrounding the deleted postings, the reason for the deletion of the two posts by Paul S and Class20 was because the messages read "Post deleted" (or words to that effect), this was the sole reason for the moderation intervention to remove the posts in this instance. I am personally disappointed, in myself, that this action has caused such an upset and I can only apologise and offer to reinstate the two postings concerned if this is what is wished by the two members.

Now that I am back with the quiz, I can make a response to this by stating that the rules of this quiz state:-
"If a move is discovered to be incorrect, the original post should be "struck-through" and the correction made as a new posting"

Postings # 4859 and # 4861 are a good example of this being carried out. The "struck-through" posting # 4859 shows that the rules have been adhered to in this particular instance in response to the HOLD HOLD HOLD challenge made on posting # 4860 by Zoe. so it is important that any "struck-though" posting is left for purposes of reference and referral....and not removed/deleted under any moderation "quiz tidy".

Deciding to exlore the Tyne Valley route we join the 13:54 Northern Rail service to Hexham arriving 14:38 on Friday afternoon.

Time for a snack and a hot drink on the station, before we board the 1424 Northern service to Carlisle that arrives there at 1555 on Friday afternoon.

We return to Scotland using the G & SW route by joining the 16:17 FSR service to Dumfries arriving at 16:54 on Friday afternon

This arrival time affords us the opportunity to change our mode of travel as we are at a railway station with a bus stop outside, so bidding adieu to the station staff who gave us a bus timetable, we board the 1715 Stagecoach Western service 500 to Newton Stewart (Dashwood Square) that arrives there at 1905 on Friday evening.
