Long gone indeed are the days when Moretonhampstead was the terminal railway station on the branch line to Newton Abbot, so we console ourselves by having a light meal before returning to the bus stop at the Square where we board the 1417 Country Bus service 359 to Exeter bus station that arrives there at 1507 on Wednesday afternoon.

Gentle reminders:-
1)...Always put the "quiz day" at the end of each posting, as this will be of help the next contestant. Remember that timetables can differ at weekends when a late night Friday posting (for example) needs an onwards Saturday posting.
2)...If you use buses or coaches as a mode of travel in your postings, remember to state where the journey point of disembarkation is in your posting. Obviously, this is not the case with rail travel.

Meanwhile, back on the quiz....

We make our way now to the railway station, where we board the 1807 ATW service to Welshpool that arrives at 1901 on Thursday evening.

The reminders stated above now assume some validity. I take it that the hospital that you refer to is the one in Gorleston on Sea with the arrival time being on Saturday morning.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
******************************************************************************************

We spend the early hours of Saturday morning promenading the seafront areas until it is time to return to the bus stop on Lowestoft Road near the hospital, where we board the 0655 First in Suffolk and Norfolk service X1 to Dereham (Market Place) that arrives there at 0836 on Saturday morning.
