We find that we're in for a long wait at Penzance Station, so we make ourselves as comfy as possible on the station platform, We then take the FGW at 05:05 service to Exeter St Davids arriving at 07:52 on Tuesday morning.

What number is this bus?

Glad to oblige with the required information in response to your query upon that posting that was made by ollieb.........

The 0755 Western Greyhound service 510 from Exeter Bus Station stops at 0800 outside Exeter St Davids station and is a part-route only journey to Okehampton, West Street, which terminates there at 0845.

Time to wonder along the narrow roads that are a feature of Mevagissey and to look at the many shops that seem to cater for the tourists there, purchasing a very reasonably priced leather holder for a mobile phone from The Leather Shop and still have time to enjoy a Cornish cream tea, before making our way to the bus stop at the Ship Inn, where we board the 1804 Western Greyhound service 526 to Gorran Haven car park (having first notified the driver of our wishes as the onward route consists of request stops that are to be notified in advance to the driver) and we arrive there at 1825 on Tuesday afternoon.

Realising another ferry opportunity awaits, we make our way to the Padstow Ferry Landing and watch the small craft coming to and fro on the river until it is time to board the 1500 Padstow Harbour Commissioners Ferry to Rock, Rock Padstow Ferry Landing, that arrives there at 1510 on Wednesday afternoon.

An excellent timing by the driver on that last service, noting that there are few onward services at this time on some of the lesser-frequented bus routes, enables us to board the 2031 Western Greyhound service 597 to Newquay (Narrowcliff) that arrives there at 2049 on Wednesday evening.

Exercise time awaits us, as we negotiate some of the local steep roads, but we do find a good cooked breakfast to sustain us and we return from whence we came to board the 0735 First in Devon and Cornwall service 16 to Penzance bus station that arrives there at 0817 on Thursday morning.
