Time to continue to enjoy the North Norfolk coastline region before we decide to end the current circular travelogue and after partaking of a crab salad on this very hot day to refresh us, we board the 1119 Norfolk Green Coastliner service CH2 to Wells next the Sea that arrives there at 1133 on Thursday afternoon.

We continue immediately on the next leg of the Coasthopper (CH3) at 1135 and ride to Sheringham NNR station, arriving at 1220 on Thursday afternoon

Making our way to the North Norfolk Railway, we note with pleasure that not only does the "red" timetable apply today, but we are in time for a train with steam haulage, so we board the 1245 service to Holt that arrives there at 1308 on Thursday afternoon.

We have a look around the museum at the station and then make our way into town for Sanders Coaches service 9 departure at 1440 to Cromer where it becomes (no change) the 4 to North Walsham PO, arriving at 1618 on Thursday afternoon

We now take a very slow walk for the 17:15 service from North Walsham one stop to Gunton arrival time at 17:21 and then where we go and get a portion of chips from the station chip shop and go sit in the park, on thursday afternoon

No getting back on the same service you have just left. You must use a real timetabled public transport service although this can be train, bus, London Underground, tram or other light rail. You may also used water based transport as long as it's a timetabled public transport service. No cars, taxis, motorbikes, planes or helicopters. You must not leave the island of Great Britain except where there is a fixed link to an island close to Great Britain. You must leave the station where the previous post left you within a reasonable amount of time (not staying there from Friday evening to Monday morning just so you can get a weekdays only working) although you may remain on a station overnight until the start of service the next day.

We now have nearly a hour wait at Ipswich so we leave the station to go admire the football stadium, before heading back to board the 22:28 Greater Anglia Service, to Felixstowe that arrives at 22:57 that evening

We decide that stopping the night is going to b e necessary, so we take the 05:34 Greater Anglia serivce to Derby Road Ipswich, arriving at 05:47 on Friday.

Ever the diplomat, I will endeavour time use both the two previous postings of Hepworth and Bury St Edmunds as a basis for my posting below in order to keep matters upon an even keel....

We are outside the bus stop in Hepworth (Duke of Marlborough), so as it is near to mid-day, we decide to partake of a cooked meal at our leisure, then to perambulate in the town area, before returning to the bus stop outside the Duke of Marlborough where we board the 1419 Simonds service 304 to Bury St Edmunds bus station, that arrives there at 1458 on Friday afternoon.

The service number 1 does not require advance booking, which is most certainly the case with the service number 5. That is why I had to be careful to nominate service number 1 in my answer.

Time to decide to stay with rail as a mode of onward travel at this time of night and we board the 2301 GA service to Kelvedon that arrives there at 2327 on Friday night.

Kelvedon doesn't seem conducive to a comfortable night so we take the next GA train at 2351 and hotfoot (or hottrain?) it to Colchester arriving at 0004 Friday night/Saturday morning

We resign ourselves to a long wait, but are fortunate that there is a very early morning train, so eventually we board the 0443 GA service to Seven Kings that arrives there at 0536 on Saturday morning.
