Time, perhaps, for a walk over Telford's magnificent structure, before returning to the bus stop on Ffaidd y Ffair for the 2110 Express Motors Service 62 to Amlwch, arriving at the Co-op at 2153 Sunday evenig.

Since we cannot use the bus that we came on and that was the one that runs the final service, there is no recourse but to find a B & B and ask for a packed lunch rather than a breakfast as there is an early morning start, so after a refreshing night's sleep, we collect our packed lunch and make our way to the bus stop where we join with the early morning workers and board the 0713 Gwynfor Coaches service 32 to Rhosybol (Old Post Office) that arrives there at 0725 on Monday morning.

Not a great deal to do here, except wait around for the next Gwynfor service 32 at 0822, which will take us to the bright lights of Llangefni, where we can at least get a cup of coffee. We arrive at the Post Office at 0849, Monday morning.

Remembering previous visits to Mona where we have been apparently unable to leave the isle, we catch (in possibly vain hope) the Arriva X4 service at 0924 and hotfoot (hotbus?) it to Bangor Clock, arriving at 0959 on Monday morning.

Another quick coffee, and we feel the call of the hills [not the sound of music!], so we head back to the bus area at the Clock and search-out the 1045 Padarn Motors Service 85 to Llanberis, where we alight at the Interchange at 1135 Monday morning.

We look longingly at the Snowdon Mountain Railway, but conclude we cannot use it with the rules of the game as we can only return on the same train - or walk down

So we catch the Sherpa S2 bus at 1200 to Llanwrst Watling Street, arriving at 1255 Monday lunch time

We enjoy a leisurely lunch and a stroll round the delightful town of Llanrwst, before returning to Watling St to catch the 1515 Bws Bro Service X6 to Corwen, arriving at the Car Park at 1615, Monday teatime.

Time to take afternoon tea then to stroll around the area to explore but all too soon it is time to board the 1806 Arriva Cymru service X94 to Bala (High Street) that arrives there at 1836 on Monday afternoon.

We have two hours to wait until the next X94 departure, which we take to Dolgellau, Eldon Square, arriva-ing at 2112 on Monday evening

We are indeed fortunate that there is an additional X94 hourly shuttle service from Dolgellau to the route terminus in addition to the normal service full route pattern, so we wait for and board the 2215 Arriva Cymru service X94 to Barmouth (Jubilee Road) that arrives there at 2235 on Monday evening.

A night in Barmouth beckons.
But we are away early the following morning, to view Harlech Castle. So we board the 0730 Express Motors 38 service, arriving Harlech High St at 0800, Tuesday morning.

We have over 2 hours for a leisurely look at the castle before catching the 1025 ATW service to Dovey Junction, arriving at 1143 Tuesday morning

The lure of the omnibus long ride returns, so we walk to the A487 and find the bus stop where we board the 1221 Arriva Cymru service X32 to Penygroes (Victoria Road) at 1430 on Tuesday afternoon

Time for a quick look around Express Motor's depot yard at Penygroes before sampling their service 1N at 1550 to Caernarfon, where we arrive at 1608 on Tuesday afternoon.

We take the 1615 Arriva Wales route X5 to Llandudno Junction Flyover, arriving at 17:29 on Tuesday

Time to seek out a restaurant for an evening meal before making our way to the railway station to board the 1920 ATW service to Pont-y-pant that arrives there at 1956 on Tuesday evening.

We thoroughly explore Pont-y-Pant twice, and then wonder what to do for the remaining 30 minutes as we await the return of the 150 unit from Blaenau Ffestiniog, due at 2040. Remembering to request the driver to stop, we board for the short journey to Betws-y-coed, where we arrive at 2050, Tuesday evening.

We have an hour in which to stroll around so we decide to see the Swallow Falls with its strong flow of waters before returning back along the main road to the centre and board the 2155 Arriva Cymru service 19 to Conwy (Lancaster Square) that arrives there at 2236 on Tuesday evening.

We join the 23:01 Arriva Trains Wales service to Holyhead, arriving at 00:05 on Wednesday

Time to book in for an overnight stay to relex us and we again order a packed lunch as our start is very early and making our way to the bus stop, we board the 0611 Arriva Cymru service 4 to Bryngwran (High Street) that arrives there at 0636 on Wednesday morning.

We take Eifion's no 25 bus at 0745 to Aberffraw, arriving at 0800, Wednesday morning

Whether it was something we ate, we're not sure, but we do know we're not feeling too well, so we take the 0909 Padran Bus Service 42 from Aberffraw to Ysbyty Gwynedd, where we arrive at 0956.

We are seen quite quicky and just over an hour later, clutching a prescription that has the mysterious words 'place bo' written on it, catch Arriva's 1058 X5 bus to Caernarfon Bus station, arriving at 1115 Wednesday morning then head in search of a bookshop to buy a welsh dictionary to find out what the chemist was laughing about..

"Place bo" sounds like it should be in the Welsh Valleys and in the "Closed Stations" section of the quiz, and having hunted high and low in Caernarfon for a dictionary to enlighten us, we return to the bus stands, with our sugar tablets and a deep distrust of NHS Cymru, and decide a visit to a dog's grave is just what is required.

So we board the 1250 Sherpa S4 to Beddgelert, arriving at 1320. Wednesday lunchtime.

We decide to treat ourselves to a steam trip by way of consolation, and at 1430 take the Welsh Highland Railway to Porthmadog, arriving at 1520, Wednesday afternoon.

We take the 16:01 Arriva Trains Wales service to Dovey Junction, arrivng at 17:47 on Wednesday

After such a days travelling that we have made today, time being no real barrier to relaxation, it is time to emulate the words of the old song from a musical "I'm busy doing nothing" and just spend our time in relaxation, where we decide not to leave the North Wales area but to head back up there, so eventually we board the 2127 ATW service to Pwllheli that arrives at 2332 on Wednesday evening.

An excursion on to the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula beckons, so, after a good night's sleep in a Pwllheli hotel, we go to the Bus Station for the 0850 Nefyn Service 17 to Aberdaron, arriving 0930 Thursday morning.

Aberdaron is popular these days with visitors with small sailing boats and we spend time watching them coming to and fro, but much as we would like to recreate the steps of countless hundreds of thousands of medieval pilgrims and visit Bardsey Island, time and other matters preclude this and all too soon, it is time to return to the bus stop and board the 1115 Nefyn Coaches service 17B to Myntho (Carmel, Main Road) that arrives there at 1136 on Thursday morning.

Having enjoyed the peace of this beautiful village, and visited the "Jampot" we return to the bus stop for the 1247 Nefyn Service 17 back to Pwllheli Bus Station, arriving 1305 Thursday lunchtime.
