Upon exiting the station we find we've missed a bus by a few minutes... Luckily there's another within a reasonable time. We depart on the 16:50 First in Essex service 62 and arrive at 17:14 in Colchester Town Centre, Greyfriars, Stop Hb (on High Street) on Friday afternoon

We continue our tour by omnibus of the environs of Colchester by boarding the 1721 Network Colchester service 1 to Greenstead (Hamlet Drive) that arrives there at 1737 on Friday afternoon.

Remembering a familiar name from the tea table on a sunday we board the 17:56 First in Essex service 75 and continue our journey to Tiptree (Factory Corner) arriving 18:50 on Friday evening

Not wishing to "be in a jam" (pun intended) as time is drawing ever onwards, we are exceedingly fortunate to be in a position to board the 1925 Stephensons of Essex service 91 to Tollesbury (The Square) that arrives there at 1940 on Friday evening.

Unfortunately we can't get another suitable connection this evening so seek accommodation for the night. The following morning we board the 07:30 Stephensons 91 bus to Witham (Morrisons) arriving 08:13 on Saturday morning

Saturday morning sees us decide on a change of mode of travel, so taking advantage of the fact that we are fortunate to be in a settlement with a railway station, we make our way there and board the 0847 GA service to Ipswich that arrives there at 0925 on Saturday morning.

I believe this move to be invalid as it's a five minute walk (according to Google) from the Morrisons store to the railway station and the bus stops at the store do not serve the station.

We've had this issue before when someone walked between Cambridge bus and rail stations then I said:

The idea of the games is that you continue from the station/stop where the previous post left you. There isn't always a bus stop immediately outside the station so sometimes a short walk is required but this should only be to a bus stop that would be considered serving the station.

In this case, I don't the Morrisons stop would be considered as the bus stop serving the station. Anyone wanting to use rail as their onward transport would have alighted at the rail station and not continued to Morrisons.

Blimey! If i'd realised it was going to cause this much hassle i would've alighted at the railway station and not gone on to Moggys. I only wanted to get supplies to sustain me through the day.

Yes, the last valid move leaves as at Whitham (Morrisons) at 0813 on Saturday. I will give Paul the first opportunity to post a new move from there after which we will continue. I have also clarified the rules on walking to show that you may only walk to a stop serving the same location when changing modes.

We note that early Saturday morning is one that we have to wait for a while to make the first journey away from this settlement, so we patiently await this first bus and board the 0950 Stephensons of Essex service 91 to Tolleshunt D'Arcy that arrives there at 1027 on Saturday morning

We have a while in this settlement before our next departure. In the past we could've caught a train from here, but passenger services were withdrawn in 1951. Therefore the omnibus is our designated option. We board the 11:00 Hedingham Omnibus 95 service and alight at Maldon (o/s Swan Hotel) arriving 11:26 on Saturday morning.

We have time to find a place to have a hot drink, before we return to the Swan Hotel area to board the 1207 Hedingham Omibuses service 95 to Goldhanger (Rectory Corner) that arrives there at 1223 on Saturday morning.

Going back and forth around the Essex countryside is starting to get tiresome. To end this monotony we need to make a break for the nearest railhead. Sadly our next journey will only get us part of the way. We board the 13:10 Hedingham Omnibus 95 service as far as Heybridge (opp Bentalls Shopping Centre) arriving 13:19 on Saturday afternoon.

We are grateful for this opportunity to both change the mode of travel and the immediate area of Eastern England that seems to have been overtraversed by omnibus, so we make our way into the railway station where we have enough connection time to board the 1456 GA service to Shenfield that arrives there at 1508 on Saturday afternoon.

We then board First in Norfolk and Suffolk's service 23B at 1946 (from Rail Station, Riverside Road) to Heartsease, Sale Road (Norwich) arriving there at 1958 this Saturday evening. While we're here, we take a short walk over to nearby Sprowston to pay visit to a relative of mine.. however the time we return by, is up to you!

Assuming you mean the bus' terminus on Lord Nelson Drive adjacent to Dolphin Road at 2119.. we board the 2141 First in Norfolk and Suffolk service 23a to (Norwich) Dereham Road opposite Adelaide Street arriving there at 2200 on this Saturday Evening.

I have had time to consider my options on this particular quiz, whilst lain prostrate for most of Saturday at Macclesfield Hospital having emergency testing performed as a result of certain matters that had caused by my blood-pressure level to "rocket" upwards which is a danger sign for those in a post-stroke situation. Providing that no further confrontations ensue, I will stay with this particular quiz as I have been with it since its inception.

If I find a mistake or an error, I will challenge it regardless of how long its been since the original post was made. If a mistake or error is ignored then the rules of the game are surly made redundant. Challenging a post is often a good way of reminding people of the rules. Plus it could lead to people thinking that a certain move is valid when in fact its not, as no challenge has been made on their post.
