After a fairly quick look round what they have done to Mumps station for Metrolink, we take the 21.12 Metrolink service. As this is a new route that we haven't been on before, we go right through to St Werburgh's Road , arriving there at 21.57 on Tuesday evening.

We decide that being up for the first train of the day doesn't appeal to us, so we instead choose to have an extra hour in bed and take the 06:55 Northern service to Ardwick, arriving 07:43 Wednesday
