Not confusing to people who know that area as Fletcher Moss is a horticultural area, which like Withington Golf Club, has a sluice that is opened when the River Mersey is in flood danger level.

Well there you go, you know the area well. I do not as I'm not from there; as I previously stated all I discovered at first was the Fletcher Moss PH on William Street, close to Didsbury Village Metrolink.
