Apologies, my plan was to take us to Newport anyway, however I have just realised that upon arrival at Totland War Memorial at 2211 the previous night, that same bus then forms the 2215 to Newport which we technically could have used as its the same vehicle completing its new duty on its return working, but I didn't realise this was the case and thought it fell foul of the minimum five minute connection time, and duly dumped us at Alum Rock for the night.
