Ashton Hall was a private halt on the Glasson Dock branch line, for the use of a local personage of note and the building is now in possession of Lancaster Golf Club.

The ferry appears to have ceased operating in April.

At this hour with very little options, its either back to Preston or continue onto Ormskirk. With Preston being somewhere we are magnetically attached/often roped into, we opt for the latter and board the 2254 Northern service 2F47 to Ormskirk, arriving there at 2306 on Friday.
