Fancying a short out-and-back journey on an operator other than Go Cornwall, we take the 4 minute walk to Royal Square, where we board Royal Buses service 44 at 1951. We alight at St Ives, Hellesveor Farm Campsite at 2015 on Sunday.

We go round the corner to the Roundhouse bus stop on the B3311 for the 20.44 Royal Buses service 55 alighting at St. Ives, Cinema at 20.49 on Sunday.

We continue our late Sunday omnibus tour of St Ives and board the 2120 Royal Buses service 55 to St Ives (Joannies Avenue) that arrives there at 2125 on Sunday.

Who knew you could have so much fun on a local independent in rural Cornwall this late on a Sunday evening!!!

Although within range of the railway station we have unfortunately missed the last train so instead take the five minute (0.2 mile) walk to The Terrace for the last bus of the day the 23.30 Go Cornwall service 17 alighting at Long Rock, Morrisons at 00.04 on Monday..

This service arrives in Callington at 2305 with a note that passengers "may" be required to change buses for onward journey on service 12, so we assume that the majority of the time it is a booked through journey, and continue as it becomes a service 12.
We alight at Saltash (Fore st, bottom) at 2331 on Monday.

Of course, the 12, 76 and 76A all used to be just the plain old 76 in WN days
