Bidding a fond farewell to the Fylde Coast, but with a smile on our face in that we were able to explore as much as we did as usually we are deposited straight to North Station or on the 68 to the concrete carnage that is Preston bus station after one move, we take an overnight break and return in the morning taking the ten minute/0.4 mile walk to North station, where we board the 0535 Avanti West Coast service 1K14 (which attaches to the Holyhead portion that is 1R14 at Crewe) to Stafford, arriving there at 0713 on Wednesday.
