We leave the railway station and on the adjacent road outside, we find that we have just missed the 383 service connection so we cross the road and next board the 2300 Stagecoach Manchester service 384 to Offerton (the bus stop opposite Broadway on Hillcrest Road) that arrives there at 2312 on Saturday.

We walk (8 min / 0.3 mile) to the Montagu Rd stop on Marple Road. There we board Stagecoach Manchester service 314 at 2322 for a trip around the Alfreton Rd loop before it heading back on it along Marple Road to alight at Stockport Interchange at 2340 on Saturday.

I'd say the best advice is to select the following Sunday then, based on the above information.
Such events are ignored for the purposes of the game in much the same way as public holidays are.
Staying on the Metrolink we change from the Purple Line to the Blue Line and take the 09.10 service to Eccles arriving at 09.54 on Sunday.
