Not avoiding the ferry this time, we head down to the ferry terminal and depart at 0715 on Caledonian MacBrayne's sailing to Rothesay Ferry Terminal, where we arrive at 0750 on Friday.

We take the 2 minute walk to Guildford Square and are just in time for the 07:55 West Coast Motors service 490 to Kilchattan Bay, Terminus where we arrive at 08:17 on Friday morning.

The 490 seems to be the only service operating on the island at this time of year and we have more than the maximum two hours to wait for the next service to Rhubodach where we could catch the only other ferry back to the mainland, so we board the 09:36 West Coast Motors service 490 to Kerrycroy (Bus Shelter) to see what's around. We arrive there at 09:56 on Friday.
