Not sure if this is allowed, but on Saturday 20/12/2025, what was the amended Saturday timetable from Manchester Airport to the current Cumbrian Line closure due to the tunnel problem is said to run from that date onward for some months................

We next board the 1404 Northern Trains service to Corkickle that arrives there at 1623 on Saturday.

Was very confused at first, as this originally said Hyndland.

Assuming this is Inchoch Street, we take the six minute walk to Garthamlock Road and board the 1242 Stagecoach West Scotland service X19 to Govan (Queen Elizabeth Hospitals), arriving there at 1329 on Sunday.

I was going to make a posting of a journey to Hyndland, but as that meant using the number 4 service, used only a couple of postings before, I decided to change to a trip to Garthamlock using service 38 instead. I had recently been reading about the area of Garthamlock and how the estate large house and its estate was council purchased. The house was later demolished and a useful addition to the land area took its place. Most of the original 50 year old council housing built on these estate grounds was demolished and currently, there is a mix of private and public housing .
