We walk for 7 minutes, covering 600 yards to the bus stop at Armley, Whingate School, and wait for the 09:30 First Leeds service 4 to Seacroft Bus Station (Stand D) where we arrive at 10:17 on Tuesday morning.
Taking great enjoyment in travelling on the Harrogate Line, we decide to make a one-hour penultimate station to penultimate station rail journey on it and we next board the 1604 Northern Rail service to Poppleton that arrives there at 1704 on Tuesday.
Leaving the station, we take the six minute walk to the Long Ridge Lane West stop, where we board the 1756 First York service 10 to Stamford Bridge (Roman Avenue*), arriving there at 1900 on Tuesday.
* the second stop, on High Catton Road near Foss Way.
We next board the 2232 First York service 5 to Huntington (the bus stop opposite St Andrew's church on Huntington Road) that arrives there at 2242 on Tuesday.
Assuming this is Theatre Royal, we next take the ten minute/0.4 mile walk to the railway station and board the 0022 London North Eastern Railway service 1N35 to Durham, arriving there at 0122 on Wednesday.
Leaving the station, we take the nine minute walk to Jewry Street where we board the 1542 Bluestar service 1 to Southampton (Giddy Bridge), arriving there at 1637 on Wednesday.
We take a 7 minute (0.3 mile) walk to the Mitre Close stop on Alan Drayton Way and wait for the 18:35 Blue Star service 3 to Eastleigh Bus Station where we arrive at 18:45 on Wednesday evening.
We take the three minute walk to the railway station and board the 1934 South Western Railway service 1T57 to Portsmouth Harbour, arriving there at 2021 on Wednesday.
We exit the station and don't have long to wait for the 23:54 London Central service N89 to Elephant & Castle Station where we arrive at 00:04 on Thursday morning.
Time for a shorter than usual overnight break. We return in the morning and take the eight minute/0.4 mile walk to Peckham Rye station and board the 0504 Thameslink service 9K00 to West Hampstead Thameslink, arriving there at 0537 on what I believe should be Thursday.
