A 2 minute walk takes us to the ferry terminal from where we depart on Caledonian MacBrayne's 1515 departure to the island of Great Cumbrae, where we alight at Cumbrae Slip Ferry Terminal at 1525 on Saturday.

From previous experience of our last visit here in June, I believe the only mode of transport is quite simply that bus route between Cumbrae and Millport, so we have no choice other than to return on the 1555 Millport Motors service 320 to Cumbrae Slip Ferry Terminal, arriving there at 1605 on Saturday. However, very impressed with the 320 running every fifteen minutes; possibly the most frequent bus service on a rural island!

I will therefore take my second ferry post in a row, and take us off the island I took us to, departing with CalMac at 1630, and arriving at Largs Ferry Terminal at 1640 on Saturday.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
I'm unable to source a Cliff Terrace, but I can see a Cliff Terrace Road?
Posting now amended. I had even missed the space between Cliff and Terrace originally....

I was becoming in despair of the number of recent postings made where escape from the Glasgow metropolis was attempted only to be forced back there each time.
