A wee bit too early for some of the coastal/breezer open top services, so to avoid going back on ourselves to Newport we continue forward on the 0837 Southern Vectis service 7 to Alum Bay (Needles Landmark Attraction), arriving there at 0842 on Wednesday.

Avoiding a fifth journey on the 7, and also keen to head to the island's main hub where plenty of other onward connections are available as we've spent a fair bit of time in the south western corner of the island, we next board the 1444 Southern Vectis Summer Links service to Newport (Bus Station), arriving there at 1452 on Wednesday.

A product of feeling unwell and mistakenly thinking that the arrival time was 2224...not 2244.. I have had a 90 minute afternoon nap and seen this faux pas. Let me try again.

With the last 28 moves having been made on the island, and bearing in mind the moderator's request not to remain in the same place for prolonged periods of time, we bid farewell to the island and take the twelve minute/0.5 walk to the Hoverport, where we board the 1115 Hovertravel service to Southsea Hoverport, arriving there at 1125 on Thursday.

Stretching it ab bit as I made the hoverport as being just out of range but at least it gets us off the IoW.

There are two Parish Church stops, I initially went from the first one which is just out of range but the other one is just within.
