Go Ahead can be a very confusing company at times. Metrobus in Sussex simply now being a trading name of Brighton & Hove and in London now operating as part of London General whilst just to confuse the issue even more all their London buses are branded Go Ahead London regardless of operating company. Even on the trains they have four different brand names for GTR.

In all honesty though, do we need the trading names as well? I know GTR is Southern/Gatwick Express/Great Northern/Thameslink but I just tend to put the operator of the current service. It does make journey planning very confusing because I never know which operator's website to look at.

However, that is for another thread.
