With there only being one bus which operates to Millport (the 320), in which we'd have to do the same journey back to the ferry terminal as that is the only other option on the island, we return to Largs on the 1430 Caledonian MacBrayne service CM7 to Largs (Ferry Terminal), arriving there at 1440 on Wednesday.

Being too far from the railway station and also with the 38 being the only service nearby with one more departure to the hospital a mere two stops away, we are relieved to not be too restricted in our options and are just within reach of taking the twelve minute/0.5 mile walk to St Winning's Lane, where we board the 1726 Stagecoach West Scotland service 11 to Ardrossan (Chapelhill Mount Terminus), arriving there at 1802 on Wednesday.

Strikes permitting.

With only the 11 available and out of range of the nearest railway station (Ardrossan South Beach) again strikes permitting we take the 18.12 service to Kilmarnock Bus Station arriving at 19.33 on Wednesday.

That's why I was surprised that the 840 was running from Scarborough to Whitby :D

This is then the last valid move.
