We walk for 3 minutes to the East Cowes Floating Bridge terminal where we board the Isle of Wight Floating Bridge departing at 1550. We alight at the West Cowes Floating Bridge terminal at 1553 on Sunday.

We take the nine minute (0.5 mile) walk to the Red Jet terminal for the 16.45 service to Southampton, Eastern Docks Passenger Ferry Terminal arriving at 17.10 on Sunday.

We take the five minute walk to the Platform Tavern and board the 1742 Bluestar service 19 to Lordshill (Lords Hill Way/Lords Hill Centre), arriving there at 1822 on Sunday.

We walk for 4 minutes to stop LE near Lords Hill Library. There, Bluestar service 4 at 1843 takes us to Romsey Bus Station where we alight at 1910 on Sunday.

We take the eight minute (0.4 mile) walk to the railway station for the 20.08 GWR service to Cardiff Central arriving at 22.34 on Sunday.

Leaving the station, we take the four minute walk to the bus stops outside the Royal Hotel outside O'Neills and board the 2304 Cardiff Bus service 44 to St Mellons (Police Station), arriving there at 2337 on Sunday.

Time for an overnight break before taking the 06.22 Cardiff Bus service 102 alighting at University Hospital of Wales, Ty Maeth at 07.30 on Monday.

We take the five minute (0.3 mile) walk to the Bronwydd Avenue bus stop on Pen y Lan Road for the 08.25 Adventure Travel service C1 to Pontprennau, Asda arriving at 08.46 on Monday.

We take the short walk to the McDonalds bus stop for the 10.25 First Cymru service X2 to Porthcawl, Metrolink 1 arriving at 11.39 on Monday.

That last mention of Metrolink in the previous posting made me as a person now resident in the Greater Manchester area immediately think of a tram stop....

A move from Metrolink 1 to Metrolink 2 allows us to board the 1151 First Cymru service 63 to Bridgend bus station that arrives there at 1251 on Monday.

We walk for 8 minutes (0.4 mile) to the railway station where we join the 1318 Transport for Wales service to  Manorbier arriving at 1547 on Monday.

We are a 10 minute (0.4 mile) walk from the nearest bus stops at Bier Cross (integrated transport, ha!) so we head off there. We just miss the 1552 and 1556 departures (one each way) so await the 1656 departure on First Cymru 349, from which we alight at Neyland, Brunel Quay at 1740 on Monday.

A 3 minute walk takes us to Pembroke Dock railway station from where we depart at 1907 on Transport for Wales 2B84 towards Cardiff. We alight at Dinbych-y-pysgod (aka Tenby) at 1937 on Monday

Little bit stuck here as buses have finished for the night and to avoid back tracking towards Pembroke Dock we instead board the 2146 Transport for Wales service 2E30 to Carmarthen, arriving there at 2229 on Monday.

Unable to trace any train or bus services still running and wanting to move into the nether hinterland region, we wait until it is time to move to the adjacent bus stop and there board the 0554 First Cymru service T1 to Llanon (the bus stop opposite Central Hotel on High Street) that arrives there at 0747 on Tuesday.

One consolation is that we moved off the usual South Wales railway line to enjoy some bus rides in the Welsh interior areas.

12 hours and 14 minutes after I last deposited us at this very stop off an earlier T5
