We then get the 16:20 TransPennine Express service 1P80 to Thirsk, arriving at 1658 Monday afternoon.

Sadly not a major hive of activity here in both rail and bus terms with everything else other than the TPEs going through non stop so we wait for the 1758 TransPennine Express service 1P82 to Manchester Oxford Road, arriving there at 1945 on Monday.

We leave the station and take the seven minute (0.4 mile) walk to the St. Peters Square tram stop for the 20.01 Metrolink Purple Line service to Altrincham arriving at 20.27 on Monday.

We then get the 2036 Northern service 2D56 to Chester, arriving at 2137 Monday evening.
