With Sutton station a mere 2 minute walk from here, we amble over there and depart on Thameslink's 9V94 at 2248. We alight at St Albans at 0010 on Sunday morning.
We walk around the corner and next board the 0442 Metroline Superloop service SL8 to Acton (Acton High Street/Old Town Hall), arriving there at 0523 on Sunday.
London United service 220 at 0604 takes us to Willesden Junction station where we alight at stop H at 0618 on Sunday. NOTE: This service also stops at stop P, but not until 0622.
We take the four minute (0.2mile) walk to Furness Road (stop Z) for the 06.46 Metroline service 187 to Park Royal, Central Middlesex Hospital arriving at 07.00 on Sunday.
We stroll for 2 minutes until we arrive at Harrow-on-the-Hill railway station. There, we board 2V16, Chlitern Railways' 0909 service from which we alight at Aylesbury at 0955 on Sunday.
Sadly just out of range of local buses and only an hourly service here, so we next board the 1346 Chiltern Railways service 2H45 to Wembley Stadium, arriving there at 1450 on Sunday.
Again with no buses service in the vicinity and being restricted to the Aylesbury to London stopping service, we head to a destination where we hope that better onward connections are available as we board the 1524 Chiltern Railways service 2H48 to London Marylebone, arriving there at 1603 on Sunday.
Looking forward to the day that perhaps domestic flights across the UK may be permitted on here, we await instead the 1725 National Express service 240 to Leeds (Dyer Street), arriving there at 2250 on Sunday.
Time for a very brief overnight break. We return in the morning and take the six minute walk to Royston Street, where we board the 0452 Arriva North West service 27 to Anfield (Burleigh Road North), arriving there at 0503 on Monday.
