Annoyingly, we have just missed all the buses up onto the high moor. The next departure anyway isn't until 1011, so we deicde to wait and board Stagecoach South West service 38 at 1025. We alight at Wonford (Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital) at 1109 on Saturday.

The 38 is two-hourly Exeter to Bovey, then an hour wait for the two-hourly continuation 38 Bovey to Ivybridge. Is this really what the once-great Plymouth-Exeter X38 Express has come to... <sigh>

We try to avoid London's hectic transport system and most of the National Express services at this time all just head into Victoria, so, aiming for the first service to somewhere different, we next board the 0655 National Express service 707 to Coventry (Pool Meadow Bus Station), arriving there at 1035 on Sunday.
