Feeling that it may be time to escape London (althugh others may disagree), we cross Cockspur St to Stop S we board London United service N9 at 0035. We alight at Heathrow Central Bus Station at 0127 on Tuesday.
We walk (6 mins / 0.2 mile) to Park End St stop D1 where at 0556 we board Stagecoach Oxfordshire service 14. We alight at John Radcliffe Hospital, Main Entrance, stop J2 at 0619 on Tuesday.
We next board the 0640 Oxford Bus Company City service 100 to Blackbird Leys (Blackbird Leys Road/Sandy Lane West), arriving there at 0725 on Tuesday morning.
We walk to Stratton Way stop A4 (4 min / 0.2 mile) where we board Thames Travel service X2 at 0951. We alight at Didcot Parkway Station, stop R3 at 1020 on Tuesday.
A 4 minute walk takes us to the Elgin Mall bus stop on Bath Rd. There we board Stagecoach West service 65 at 1235, from which we aight at Dursley (Sainsbury's) at 1303 on Tuesday.
We next board the 1326 Stagecoach West service C60 to Wotton-under-Edge (the bus stop before the War Memorial) that arrives there at 1344 on Tuesday afternoon.
We next board the 1446 Cotswold Green service 40 to Lightpill (the bus stop opposite Bowl Hill on Kitesnest Lane) that arrives there at 1453 on Tuesday afternoon.
It appears that the remaining two buses through here this day both only go as far as Stroud. Therefore, boarding the first of the two we depart on Cotswold Green service 8B at 1622. We alight at Stroud(Merrywalks, stop B) at 1638 on Tuesday.
Alas with it being Tuesday there is no chance to visit Stroud market so we make do with a walk up from Merrywalks to Stroud Railway Station, boarding the 17:31 GWR service, alighting at Kemble Railway station at 17:45
We leave the railway station and at the adjacent bus stop, we next board the 1845 Stagecoach West service 882 to Cirencester (the bus stop opposite The Forum on South Way) that arrives there at 1907 on Tuesday evening.
For a town of its size, Ciren only has one more service left here, the 2003 Stagecoach West service 51 which we take as far as Penhill (Bradley Road), arriving there at 2056 on Tuesday evening.
We walk 9 mins / 0.4 miles to the Orchid Close stop where we await Go South Coast (t/a Swindon's Bus Company) service 11 at 2129, although we are concerned that we are nowhere near the South Coast so maybe it is an impostor. We alight at Oakhurst (Voyager Dr) at 2145 on Tuesday.
With the only remaining bus here today being in 4 minutes(*) we take advantage of the overnight rule and return in the morning to board Stagecoach West service 9 at 0530. We alight in Wroughton (High St) at 0537 on Wednesday.
(*) - Technically we could possibly get this one as it looks to be the same vehicle returning, and I don't fancy a third trip on the 11...
