We take the five minute walk to Warminster station and board the 1553 South Western Railway service 1O56 to Woking, arriving there at 1715 on Thursday afternoon.
We leave the station and take the two minute walk to The Green from where we take the 22.38 Thames Valley Buses service 5 to Heathrow, Terminal 5 arriving at 22.54 on Thursday.
Taking into account the fifteen minute connection here at Paddington and not wishing to head back towards the London region, we next board the 1053 Great Western Railway service 1W21 to Evesham, arriving there at 1240 on Friday afternoon.
We take the seven minute walk to the bus station and take the 13.48 Astons Coaches service 540 to Tewkesbury, The Crescent arriving at 14.29 on Friday.
With only the 351 available here, no more buses towards Gloucester and just out of range of other routes we take the 16.31 to Coombe Hill, Swan Inn arriving at 17.15 on Friday.
Not many other rail services here so we wait for the 2124 CrossCountry service 1G89 to Birmingham New Street, arriving there at 2158 on Friday evening.
Ever mindful of the 12 minute minimum connection time here, we depart on 2R67, West Midlands trains' 2215 service to Redditch. We alight at Barnt Green at 2243 on Friday.
