As we are next door to the railway station we head there and take the 15.51 Avanti West Coast service to Euston arriving at 18.35 on Thursday.

We change at Euston for the 18:44 London Overground service to South Hampstead arriving at 18:49 on Thursday evening.

We leave the station and take the 19.03 Metroline service 31 to White City Bus Station arriving at 19.40 on Thursday.

We walk 15 minutes to Shepherds' Bush Station and take the 20:00 London Overground service to Imperial Wharf, arriving at 20:07 on Thursday evening.

We leave the station and take the 20.17 Metroline service 306 to East Acton alighting at Hammersmith Bus Station at 20.39 on Thursday.

We take the 20:45 Abellio service 267 to Brentford, Market Place arriving at 21:12 on Thursday evening.

We take the seven minute walk to the railway station and take the 21.23 SWR service to Weybridge arriving at 22.08 on Thursday.

We change at Weybridge for the 22:11 SWR service to Fleet arriving at 22:38 on Thursday evening.

A couple of observations:

We arrived at Euston at 1835 but the minimum connection time is fifteen minutes, therefore we can't travel until any train from 1850 onwards.

We walk 15 minutes to Shepherds' Bush Station and take the 20:00 London Overground service to Imperial Wharf, arriving at 20:07 on Thursday evening.

We are only permitted to walk a maximum of around 0.5 miles, which is usually about 12 minutes walk. I think White City bus station to Shepherds Bush station is a tad far.

We change at Weybridge for the 22:11 SWR service to Fleet arriving at 22:38 on Thursday evening.

The minimum connection time at Weybridge is five minutes, and as we arrived at 2208 this would void the use of the 2211 departure.

Presumably that means my move from Rhyl to Euston was the last valid move.

We enter the station and take the 21.16 GTR (Southern) service to Beckenham Junction arriving at 21.57 on Thursday.

We make our way to bus stop A in Beddington Farm Road and take the 23.04 Go Ahead London service 455 to Kenley alighting at Purley Cross at 23.32 on Thursday.

We begin the next day catching the 05:30 Go-Ahead London bus service 127 to Hackbridge Corner (Stop A) arriving at 05:50 on Friday morning.

We depart from stop B at 0608 on Go Ahead London (London General) service 151. We alight at Cheam Broadway, stop D at 0636 on Friday morning.

We take the eight minute walk to the railway station just in time to take the 06.46 GTR (Southern) service to Dorking arriving at 07.07 on Friday.

We walk the 0.2 mile to Dorking Deepdene station in 4 minutes, then await 1V38, GWR's 0725 service. We travel on this to its destination of Reading, arriving at 0831 on Friday.

Time for some breakfast before taking the 09.30 GWR service to Plymouth arriving at 12.14 on Friday.

We head to the railway station bus stops where we depart at 1304 on Plymouth Citybus (t/a Go Cornwall Bus) service 70B. We alight at Sheviock (Church) at 1404 on Friday.

Annoyingly having missed the previous bus by six minutes and not wishing to back track we wait the best part of two hours for the 15.58 Go Cornwall service 75 to Liskeard, Post Office arriving at 16.52 on Friday.

Long waits can be quite pleasant in this area, so we next board the 1748 Go Cornwall Bus service 11 to Wadebridge (Bus Station) that arrives there at 1857 on Friday evening.

With other roues having finished by this time we are just left with the 11 so we take the 20.46 to Padstow Bus Terminus arriving at 21.04 on Friday.

We leave the station and take the 17.24 Borders Buses service 60 to Galashiels Transport Interchange arriving at 19.07 on Saturday.
