Side note: the minimum connection time at London Victoria is fifteen minutes, with the exception of SE to SE which is ten minutes, and SE to SN and vice versa which is also ten minutes!!

Regardless, as we are just within the exact time anyway, we next board the 1505 Southern service 1C40 to Portsmouth & Southsea, arriving there at 1701 on Saturday afternoon.
Beaten to it. See previous post.

It would have helped matters had the incorrect posting been struck-through, as I have just done with mine.
Sorry that I'm not able to see the ins and outs of this thread in my sleep....

Furthermore, if you'd have checked Post #37441, you'd have noticed that RDP had already informed to say they'd beaten me to the post....

We next board the 1708 Southern service to Ore that arrives there at 1740 on Saturday afternoon.
We next board the 1752 Southern service 2G51 to Falmer, arriving there at 1900 on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately we appear to have alighted one stop too early and left ourselves stranded as that was the last bus and we are just too far from Lymington Town station (0.7 mile). We therefore return in the morning and take the 06.25 Bluestar service 6 to Southampton, West Quay arriving at 07.40 on Monday.

I thought that the Main Post Office on High Street on Lymington would have been a good stop to disembark....
Nope. It's a Sunday evening, and not within walking distance of the station.
We next board the 0827 First Portsmouth, Fareham & Gosport service X5 to Gosport (Bus Station) that arrives there at 1024 on Monday morning.
We head to the ferry and board the 1030 Gosport Ferry service to Portsmouth Harbour Station Pier, arriving there at 1037 on Monday morning.
