Could I ask a query with regards to a bus service. From Hailsham, High Street, there was a 2137 Stagecoach South East service 1X departure to Eastbourne, Gilredgw Road that arrived at 2217 on which the information shown in Bus Times.org. was part of quite a comprehensive service, yet there was a note at the head of the timetable information quoting restrictions on it use.

This does appear on a small number of Stagecoach bus routes. I tend to ignore it when the service looks to be a normal stage serivce. Where it is more likely to be a school, college or industrial run then I avoid the service. Hope this helps...

As an aside, I do find it exasperating that Southern Vectis have two regular variations of routes 1, 7 and 9, with no numbering distinction.

I agree, although its nice to be able to do one route one way and another route the other way should you wish to, and in general I think Southern Vectis are an excellent bus company (must be Go Ahead, as Brighton & Hove are also fantastic).

We next take the two minute walk to the Red Jet Terminal and board the 2125 Red Funnel ferry service to Southampton Passenger Terminal (Town Quay), arriving there at 2153 on Saturday evening.

A 5 minute (0.2 mile) walk takes us to Platform Tavern stop TC, where we board Go South Coast, t/a Bluestar, service 19 at 2213.
We alight at Shirley, Precinct (Stop SG) at 2236 on Saturday.

That's it in Romsey; the next bus and train depart their appropriate stations at 0835 in the morning. We therefore depart from the bus station at 0855 on Stagecoach South service 66, alighting at Winchester, Bus Station at 0935 on Sunday.

The 0010 service 5 from Romsey to Eastleigh is formed of the same bus that forms that 4 arriving at 0007 so we could have got that, but all is well!
