We take the seven minute walk to the light rail platforms, where we board the 2123 Metrolink Blue Line service to Anchorage, arriving there at 2213 on Sunday evening.

We walk (6 min / 0.3 mile) to Ontario Basin, stop C, where we pick up Go NorthWest Orbits 53 at 2251. We alight at Rusholme, Wilmslow Rd, stop D at 2315 on Sunday.

We walk around the corner to the Owens Park bus stop, where we board the 2342 Stagecoach Manchester service 42 to Heaton Mersey (Bank Hall Road), arriving there at 0004 in the early hours of Monday morning.

Used that stop many a time when some friends lived on Moorside Rd...

Taking advantage of the overnight rule we cross the road and board Stagecoach Manchester service 23 at 0535. We decide to be the first in the queue for when the Trafford Centre opens by taking ths bus to Trafford Centre Bus Station at 0622 on Monday morning.

Last time we were here we took the ferry, so this time we will leave at 1930 on Kirkby Lonsdale service 89, alighting at Lancaster, Infirmary at 2032 on Monday.

We realise that th eonly options within walkign distance mean we return to central Lancatser, so we have a look round the sights at this car park near the motorway and then walk the 9 minutes (0.4 mile) to the Lancaster Business Park bus stop on Caton Road. There we board another Kirkby Lonsdale service, the 81, at 2114. We alight at Lancaster, Bus Station at 2122 on Monday evening.

We next board the 2205 Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire service 6A to Morecambe (the bus stop by the Festival Hall on Central Drive) that arrives there at 2231 on Monday evening.
Assuming that this is Festival Market, we next board the 2308 Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire service 5 to Carnforth (Railway Station), arriving there at 2329 on Monday evening.

As the last train has already gone we return in the morning and take the 05.49 Northern service to Barrow in Furness arriving at 06.42 on Tuesday.
