Hoping that it is in good order to use a recently used bus once more, we leave the railway station and walk to the adjacent bus stop and there board the 1939 Southdown PSV service 409 to Blindley Heath (the bus stop adjacent to Ray Lane on Eastbourne Road) that arrives there at 1959 on Wednesday evening.

This is one of those locations that unexpectedly has very little choice for us, so our only option is to leave on the only remaining bus of the day, as it is too early to invoke the overnight ruling. Southdown PSV service 410 at 2057 takes us only as far as Domewood, Snow Hill Crossroads where we alight at 2100 on Wednesday.
