I notice an X2 at 1935? I'm not sure if that serves all stops in Tarleton though - I'd imagine not being an X-lettered route but could have been an option.

I was aware of the different routes taken in Tarleton by the 2 and the X2 and I chose the service 2 in order to pass the Cock and Bottle on Church Road (a place that I have visited in real life).

The X2 goes via the bus stop near Back Lane on Windgate, near the traffic lights.

It's a 40.

I'm not familiar with the area at all; I've only travelled from Preston to Blackpool on the 68 or caught the 47 from Southport to Liverpool.

Plenty of time to catch the 2115 Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancs service to Lancaster Bus Station arriving there at 2217 Saturday.

We take the nine minute walk to the railway station and next board the 2237 Northern service 2C71 to Morecambe, arriving there at 2248 on Saturday evening.

Sorry, I've just realised that's an invalid move. That's on a weekday. The last train to Morecambe on a Saturday is at 2034 (surprisingly early!).

In that case, we'll still head to Morecambe, but we'll continue on the bus on the 2250 Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire service 100, arriving at Morecambe Bus Station at 2311 on Saturday evening.
