That's it for today, so we return in the morning...
The first possible departure is at 0645 on the X55, so instead we await the 0725 departure on Sanders Coaches service 5. We alight at Sheringham, Railway Approach at 0812 on Tuesday morning.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Deciding to continue this enjoyable area travelogue, we leave the railway station and take the short walk to the bus stop adjacent to Station Avenue, where we next board the 0917 Sanders Coaches service 210 to Spixworth (the bus stop adjacent to Beeston Lane on Buxton Road) that arrives there at 1002 on Tuesday morning.

Must admit this has caused a grey area. Whilst indeed Bus Times has picked up a stop called Spindle Road, it's not showing on Google Maps, and also Spindle Road is a cul-de-sac and not off St Faiths Road, as Bus Times suggests!

What we can do instead, despite still only being in the vicinity of the 21 route, is take the five minute walk to the bus stop opposite Bussey Road (which is actually off St Faith's Road), and board the 1933 First Norfolk & Suffolk Orange Line service 21 to Norwich (Rampant Horse Street), arriving there at 1953 on Tuesday evening.

That is a really confusing with 23, 23A and 24 and 24A all the Red Line but with slightly different routes.

Anyway, we cross the road and board the 2042 First Norfolk & Suffolk 23A Red Line service to Norwich (opp Aldi), arriving at 2055 on Tuesday.

The next bus departs here at 2303, but we can go for a short walk to get another move in before stopping for the night.

We take a four minute walk over to Heartsease (opp Munnings Road) and board the 2212 First Norfolk & Suffolk 23 Red Line service to Norwich (opp Adelaide Street), arriving at 2239 on a Tuesday evening.

That appears to be it for the rest of the night, so we return in the morning for the 0615 First Norfolk & Suffolk Red Line service 24A to Thorpe St Andrew (Eastern Road), arriving there at 0715 on Wednesday morning.

Becoming increasingly fed up of the Red Line, we next take the eight minute walk to the Travel Inn and board the 0856 First Norfolk & Suffolk Excel service C to Peterborough (Queensgate Bus Station), arriving there at 1147 on Wednesday morning.

Pushing the rules here, but wishing to not return on the 101 we note that the next legal departure from here is the 1350 service 101. Therefore, we can await the 1542 Delaine Buses service 401, and alight at Haconby, Bus Shelter at 1545 on Wednesday.

I believe that Rippingdale may give us an escape from this area in a bit, but clearly that isn't my call :) ...

Happy to oblige!

Next we take the 1605 Delaine Bus service 401 to Rippingdale, St Andrew's Church arriving there at 1614 on Wednesday.

En route to Rippingale we call LincsBus ConnectBus who come and pick us up to take us to Bourne. With an estimated departure time of 1630 and a journey time of 10 minutes (assuming no diversions to pick others up) we arrive in Bourne, Bus Station at around 1640 on Wednesday.

Cautious of the surprisingly limited services that operate here, we next board the 1700 Delaine Buses service 101 to Brotherhood (Retail Park), arriving there at 1736 on Wednesday afternoon.

Well its a but unfortunate we didn't make use of the frequent Stagecoach East service 1 from Brotherhood Retail Park in Cambridge, because by going back up north to Delaine territory, we are now stranded in Stamford for the night, as we're too far away to walk from the railway station and the last bus of the day from the bus station (which is in walking distance) left at the pathetic time of 17:40, however we can do the following:

We return in the morning for the 0631 Delaine service 201 to Stamford (Lambert Mews), which is within walking distance of the station, arriving there at 0648 on Thursday morning.
